Archer GE650v1 - EasyMesh in AP Mode, DoH/DoT & More + GE800 Pre-Release w/fan Control

We're excited to announce new official firmware for Archer GE650 V1 is now available!
As one of the largest recent updates for the Archer GE650 V1, this firmware introduces wireless driver update to enhance the system stability and compatibility and features like DoH/DoT and EasyMesh in AP Mode, EasyMesh Topology Mapping, WebUI in EasyMesh Satellite/Agent Mode, providing functions like LED control, reboot, firmware upgrade, and more.

Archer GE650 Pre-Release New Features and Modifications:
This firmware introduces wireless driver update to enhance the system stability and compatibility, also a lot of new functions supported like DoH/DoT and EasyMesh in AP mode, so it's strongly recommended to upgrade to this version.
Please notice that you cannot downgrade back to the 1.0.x firmware after upgrade to this newer 1.1.0 firmware.

Additionally, we have exciting Pre-Release Firmware available for the Archer GE800 V1!
Archer GE800 Pre-Release New Features and Modifications:
1. Upgraded wireless drivers for enhanced system stability and compatibility.
2. Updated WebUI color scheme from blue-black to red-black.
3. Added RGB Light Sync and Control in Mesh mode.
4. (Archer GE800 V1 only) Newly added Cooling Control allows you to select a cooling mode for optimal performance (screenshot below).
You can modify the settings as needed by navigating to Advanced > System > Cooling Control.
5. Newly added support for:
- EasyMesh Topology Map feature
- EasyMesh in AP Mode
- DoH/DoT
- WebUI in EasyMesh Satellite/Agent mode, including functions like LED control, reboot, firmware upgrade, and more
- Guest Network isolation from the main network in AP mode
- Setting a Wi-Fi Schedule separately for different Wi-Fi channels
- Multi-selection in the Access Control allow list function
- Setting the client IP range of the PPTP/L2TP/IPsec VPN server to match the main network's DHCP range
7. Optimized USB sharing performance.
8. Optimized overall system stability and performance.
Firmware Download:
Before Upgrading
(1) For insurance's sake, saving a copy of the router Backup Config file is always recommended before upgrading or downgrading.
(2) The Archer GE800 V1 Pre-Release firmware in this article can be applied to all versions (EU/US/AU/CA/etc).

(4) The screenshots in this article are taken from the web GUI of the Archer GE800 V1 for reference only.
(5) US Users: Pre-release and Beta firmware should be used at your own discretion. We cannot guarantee the functionality of features or technical support for Pre-Release or Beta Firmware.
(6) The Archer GE800V1 Pre-Release firmware can be reverted to the previous official version.
(7) The Archer GE650V1 Official Firmware cannot be reverted to the previous version.
