Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 20250317 rel.18331(5553)

I just bought BE9300 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Router specially for the purpose of latching onto 6Ghz band but none of my devices see that signal being transmitted. 

 

I have enabled 6Ghz in the webui

  1. I have tried Enabling / Disabling PSC
  2. I have tried changing channel width to 20/40/80 then 20/40/80/160 then 20/40/80/160/320 but nothing helped.

3. I have tried Factory resetting the device, that didn't help. 

 

And also this is not a problem with my devices. I am using Sansung S25 Ultra, Macbook M2 and a Acer Predator Laptop all capable of latching on to 6Ghz channel and they can see my friend's 6Ghz signal so those are not the culprit. What could be wrong ?

May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:

ISP modem—router)))((( client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

 

Have you enabled the 6Ghz guest network for comparison?  Please change 6Ghz network name to a different name.

  @Joseph-TP I have the same issue with my router but I'm running 1.1.3 firmware

 

With my previous router my phone (Xiaomi 15 Ultra) and laptop would connect to wifi 7

 

Also tried with the guest networks, but they only see the 2.4ghz and 5ghz not the 6ghz

 

My media players are wired, and I have an IoT for my smart devices..but what ever settings I try, my phone and laptop won't see the 6ghz

Hello @Wenkie ,

Welcome to our community.

 

Are you using the BE550 in Access Point mode? Did 6Ghz work fine before you updated to 1.1.3?

If you can, please downgrade the firmware to 1.1.2. 

Or, reset the router and configure it again.

  @Joseph-TP it's not in AP mode, I just got this router and after setting it up it updated to firmware 1.1.3 so I don't know if the 6ghz worked on 1.1.2 or not. I already tried resetting it but 6ghz still doesn't show up on my devices
