AXE 75 does not playback Google Chromecast Live video
Hello! I recently switched from a Netgear router to a TP-Link AXE75 and for some reason, my Google Chromecast Live channels will not playback successfully. I get the list of channels and shows to appear just fine in the Live EPG. it's just a playback issue. That being said, this issue is isolated to only Google Live channels (eg: what is present in the Live section of the latest Chromecast device as well as the Freeplay app). Playback on all other services is perfectly fine such as Plex, Pluto, Tubi, the Roku Channel, Netflix, Max, etc. The error I get is a standard timeout error saying an error occurred during playback. I switched back to my Netgear router and as expected, playback is just fine.
Gemini tells me to:
1. Disable AP Isolation. This was never enabled.
2. Disable "Smart Connect". Changing this has no impact on playback which means it still fails.
3. Enable Multicast, UPnP, and IGMP Snooping. These are already enabled and it does not matter if I use IGMP v2 or v3, playback still fails.
4. Disable OFDMA. This was enabled on my Netgear router, but even with this disabled on my TP-Link router, playback fails.
5. Prioritize Chromecast (QoS - Quality of Service). No impact after adding my Chromecast to QOS prioritized devices.
6. Change DNS. Changing from my ISP'd DNS to quad 9 or Google's DNS (8.8.8.8) has no impact on playback.
I like my TP-Link router, but I also reallly like being able to playback local news channels on my Chromecast so this is a bit maddening.
Does anyone have any suggestions besides setting up a packet sniffer or Charles Proxy to trouleshoot what the issue is? Any suggestion that resolves playback would be highly appreciated.
