Model: RE700X
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.9 Build 20240426

Hello,

I cannot keep my client connected to the access point and it keeps defaulting back to the weaker connection higher latency 5ghz router. Can I run my access point with a different SSID to ensure my client stays connected to it? Ping -t test to the access point and router when connected to the access point shosignificantlycant lower ping than when connected to the router.

Im running a RE700X with am Archer AXE300.

5Ghz & 2.4GHz are separated (No Smart Connect)

One Mesh is enabled

QoS is enabled for the Client at 150 up and 150 down

Hello @NetFun ,

Thank you for contacting our community.

Do you mean that you set the extender to be an Access Point? In this mode, can you still create a OneMesh network?

Please change the RE700X to range extender mode for comparison.

Please disable the OneMesh feature and check if the client will connect to RE700X automatically.
