nord vpn disconnecting

I have a repeating issue on Nordvpn setup.
Seems, first thing in morning after sleep the configured vpn is disconnected.
I have to manually log in and change to a new server in order for it to reengage.

Hi@we3rv ,
Welcome to our community.
Please check your system log to see if there is any renewal activity.
If you are unable to verify this yourself, we recommend collecting system logs and backup files, then contacting local support via email to confirm the information.
Please refer to the FAQs below to collect system logs and backup files of the router:

I have reviewed the log on day 1 of spotting the issue.
On day 2 the issue repeated and I contacted Nordvpn chat.
On day 3 the issue repeated and I contacted Nordvpn chat and posted to this forum, and cleared the log.
Now it is day 4, the issue repeated and from everything I can see in the log it is, IMHO, tied to the auto reboot schedule at 0400.
I have now deleted the auto reboot schedule. I will test again tomorrow and see if issue is corrected.
If it is corrected I guess manual reboots are the only option as the router is not reconnecting the vpn after scheduled reboots.
My ONLY guess.
I have also found this similar posted issue, in this forum;
(I am curious if I have any control over this in the AXE75 router or if this scripting is in the ovpn file provided by nordvpn)?
In your case, the problem may be caused by a change in the WAN IP. It is recommended that you set Address Reservation for the device that needs to be accessed.
Here are some potential solutions to ensure the OpenVPN server remains functional after a reboot:
1. Ensure OpenVPN Service Starts on Boot:
- Check your router settings to ensure that the OpenVPN service is set to start automatically on boot. This setting is often found in the VPN or service management section of the router's interface.
2. Check Router Firmware:
- Ensure that your router firmware is up-to-date. Sometimes, bugs affecting VPN functionality can be resolved with a firmware update.
3. Persistent Configuration:
- Make sure that your OpenVPN configuration is saved correctly. After making any changes, apply and save the settings before rebooting.
4. Use a Custom Script:
- If your router supports scripting, consider creating a startup script that automatically restarts the OpenVPN service after a reboot. This can often be done by adding a script to the router’s administration interface.

0700 update. Performed manual reboot of router for testing.
The network & internet was established by 0703 hours.
The VPN connected automatically.
So in essence the real question is what is different from a "manual reboot" versus a "scheduled reboot"?
Any help appreciated.
