  @Ryan

It says it is for BE1600 US V1.0, however, I applied it to BE16000 US v1.6 and it seems to be working fine so far.

  @AllenAnderson I bought the BE16000 a couple day ago and up until now it been unstable and consistent disconnection issues.. I just updated the 1.1.0 pre-release firmware a hour ago and all or my clients haven't disconnected.. so fingers crossed.. depending on how stable it is the next couple days will decide if it will be return back to best buy...

  @Ryan Hello!

I have four BE75 nodes and while the devices work overall with firmware 1.0.6, I have a Samsung Galaxy S25+ WiFi 7 phone that had issues on the MLO network. As I moved through the house and the phone was switching between nodes, the phone would often drop off the network and switch to mobile data. Most of the time, the phone was not able to reconnect to the MLO network until I switched off Wifi on the phone or went into airplane mode. If the standard Wifi network was stored in the phone, the phone would switch over to the standard Wifi network on Wifi 7 mode and would continue to work there. I tried a variety of different settings both on the Deco devices like turning on Fast Roaming on/off and changing some of the advanced Wifi settings on the phone, including some of the developer mode settings like Wifi Safe Mode, and there was no difference in result. The phone would drop off the MLO network anytime it would switch node points. I even tried naming the MLO network both the same name as standard WiFi and gave it a different SSID name and password. I also tried the MLO network settings of both using 2.4 Ghz and not using 2.4 Ghz. Same result.

So seeing that this beta firmware specifically addressed issues with Samsung devices, I upgraded all of my four BE75 nodes, and there is an improvement but it's still not perfect. The phone will still drop the MLO network when moving through the house and the phone is switching nodes, but now the phone will quickly reconnect to the MLO network after a few seconds. Still not ideal that it drops off the network, but at least the MLO network is usable. Again, I have tried a variety of settings on both phone and Deco and the result is the same issue of brief disconnects with MLO using the Samsung Galaxy S25+. I also played with the new Deco beta network setting for network optimization vs performance mode. Same result.

The phone is also on the latest available official Samsung One UI Android build of Android 16 and One UI 8.0.

I hope this feedback helps further improves the Samsung device stability for the final firmware release. For what it is worth, this phone also struggled to stay connected to Linksys Velop Wifi 7 MBE7000 nodes, but even turning off the MLO features still resulted in this Wifi 7 phone could not stay connected to the network, which is why I switch to these Deco nodes. So this phone definitely has had issues with MLO generally. Hopefully this firmware can figure out how to get Samsung devices perfect with MLO. Unfortunately, I don't have any other Wifi 7 devices to test. Only a handful of 6E devices that I haven't connected to the MLO network that is still visible to the 6E devices.
