Model: Archer AX10
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.2.1 Build 20250724 rel.69183(5553)

I was looking at the System Log and noticed that my AX10 keeps obtaining an 86400-second DHCP lease, and apparently interpreting it as a one-minute DHCP lease, and renewing it 30 seconds later.  The log looks like this:

2025-10-11 23:31:58 DHCPC INFO [13144] receive ack from server with ip 10.100.3.17, options(serverid=10.100.0.1;subnet=255.255.0.0;lease=86400;router=10.100.0.1;dns=8.8.8.8 4.2.2.2;)

Seems like a bug in the firmware?

Hello @_mfb_ ,

Thanks for contacting our community.

May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:

ISP modem—AX10)))((( client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

We haven't received similar feedback yet. Would you mind resetting the AX10 and reconfiguring it? For the sake of insurance, it's always recommended to save a copy of the router's Backup Config file before a hard reset.

How to create and restore from a backup file on your TP-Link Router

Hi @Joseph-TP

I performed a factory reset, then reconfigured it, and I still see that same message in the system log every ~34 seconds or so.

My TP-Link AX10 is running in access point mode.  So the topology is:

router—AX10)))((( client devices

It's possible that this issue only appears in access point mode?

In which case, maybe the bug hasn't been reported because that is a less common configuration - I'd assume most users have their AX10 running in wireless router mode.  Also, it's a pretty low-severity bug - I don't think renewing the lease would cause any harm, aside from filling up the log (and wasting some CPU cycles).
