Monday
Model: Archer BE6500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.3

Within the last week or so the wifi network becomes laggy, and then shortly thereafter goes offline.  Restoration is possible with a restart of the device.  Prior to the last couple of weeks I didn't experience this.  The unit was purchased in August 2025.  I've had other Archer (TPLINK)  Routers and never experienced this which makes me believe something is not right with this unit.

Hello @jtwill ,

Thanks for contacting our community.

For your case, have you updated the firmware or modified any settings recently? You mentioned that the wireless connection first became laggy and then went offline, what is the LED status on the router when the network drops?

How about the wired clients? Do they still have access to the router?

For an unstable wireless connection:
    1) Make sure the Router is properly placed; it should be put in an open area instead of inside a cabinet or shelf.
    2) Change the wireless channel to another one. You may refer to
Changing Channel and Channel Width on a TP-Link Router (new logo).
    3) Change channel width to avoid interference. For 2.4GHz wireless client devices, adjust the 2.4GHz channel width to 20MHz; for 5 GHz wireless client devices, adjust the 5GHz channel width to 80MHz or 40MHz, etc.

If you need a quick response, we recommend that you consult via hotline or live chat. Have you tried?
