I am trying to understand bridge mode vs wireless router with my setup.  I have AT&T fiber coming into the modem which is a Humax BGW320-500.  From there I have an ethernet going from the 5GB port to the 2.5GB LAN port on the router (BE800).  Then I have my PC wired into the router, and everything else in the house is Wi-Fi.  I have the modem set to IP passthrough mode and the router set to bridge mode but im thinking I have something set wrong because certain pages wont load when im set up this way.  I noticed the DHCP server is coming from the modem which seems like it should probably come from the router but there are so many settings on both and I just want to get it right.  Once I get that right, id like to see if theres a way I can alway connect to 6GHz when available and switch to 2.4/5GHz when its poor connection.  Please help.
