SUGGESTION: ADD EXCLUSION LIST TO ALL CLIENTS

CURRENT STATE: TO CONTROL THE DEVICES UNDER THE ROUTER VPN there are two setting options:

1. ALL CLIENTS - this option automatically hides all clients behind Router VPN

2. INDIVIDUAL CLIENT SELECTION:

a. Offers the opportunity to add clients to the VPN individually

b. Issue of only having this option to manually/add individual clients:

- Some devices (e.g. iphones with private wifi addresses) will swith MAC IDs for protection (I don't want to change that setting on my iphone, as I like it on when I am traveling, as a protection).

- While away my iphone will rotate private wifi to a new MAC/wifi address. When returning it is set to recognize the home router as a "trusted network" and will not activate the VPN from the phone. Instead it will join the home network, and if i don't remember to go into VPN everytime and add the iphone, it would be operating outside the HOME ROUTER BE95 VPN.

I can set the VPN to ALL CLIENTS and automatically protect all devices on my network.

The problem with this, is that some streaming providers (Netflix) have now made it more difficult to connect when behind a VPN.

So I would like to remove the TV (Fixed MAC address) from the Router BE95 VPN; the only way to do that is to go back into BE95 VPN settings and then manually select all the clients except the TV.

Obviously this works to exclude the TV, but the issue with iphone recurs as noted above.

SUGGESTED SOLUTION:

1. BUILD an EXCLUSION LIST to offer another option under ALL CLIENTS setting of the BE95 VPN, and then select those devices that should be excluded from the VPN setting.

a. THE ALL CLIENTS SETTING with EXCLUSION LIST: allows the manager to select device MAC addresses that should be "EXCLUDED" from the router VPN protection; however, it would provide automatic VPN coverage for all clients that join except those identified on the EXCLUSION LIST.
