Model: Deco BE11000
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: latest

I read a lot of discussion about TP link anti-alleged involvement of the Chinese government. I am honestly far more bothered by the fact that I bought a expensive  router that has a known issue with Starlink and google

(100 repro) ain't nobody from the TP Link team has bothered to chime in repro and fix it or if you don't have access to a Starlink asked users to capture whatever logging you need. My router is basically useless. I have to constantly enable the VPN so I can go to Google pages and then I need to turn it back off so it doesn't interfere with services that do not allow VPN. It is unusable and again 100% reproducible.

here is my thread but there are many others

The unusual phenomenon you're encountering with your Deco, Starlink Internet, and Google services isn't the experience we want users to have with their Deco Mesh Systems, and I'll be happy to help however I can.

I've responded in the thread you linked and hope to help resolve this behavior, but I'll post the same reply here, just in case:

Recently, we received feedback from several users experiencing frequent difficulties connecting to Google services (e.g., Google Calendar, Gmail, YouTube) while using Deco Mesh Systems on the following ISP networks: Starlink, ISOMEDIA, and Fastel.

Our teams have investigated the causes of these phenomena and we've put out a new community broadcast for affected users: Resolving Limited Accessibility to Google Services on Specific ISP Networks (Starlink and Others)

  @Ryan

If you look through this forum, it is not unusual. Every person who runs the tp as a router attached to startlink seems to report these 100% reproducible issues. the workaround is to use it as a an AP not router mode. But i don't want that.

I understand your concerns with using the device in AP mode as a workaround. I'm happy to let you know that another solution is available that does not require running your Deco in AP Mode.

In the post I linked above, you can find details on the potential root cause of the phenomenon, along with a beta firmware that addresses the behavior for your model, so you can resume using it in Router Mode.

Official firmware releases are in the works; however, we suggest using the beta firmware in the meantime.
