Would like to know how to update firmware, and how I can have that automatically done if there are firmware updates.

To update the firmware on your TP-Link router, you have two main options:
Method 1: Update via the Tether App
• Open the Tether app on your mobile device.
• Go to MORE > System > Firmware Update.
• The app will automatically check for new firmware updates. If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
Method 2: Manual Update via Web Interface
• Download the latest firmware for your specific router model and hardware version from the official TP-Link website: https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/
• Access your router's web interface by visiting http://tplinkwifi.net or the router's LAN IP address in your web browser.
• Upload and install the downloaded firmware file.
