Greetings!

My current setup is 1 ISP link feeding a AX11000 router which then leads to a T1600G-28TS switch, where it is distributed to numerous ports and devices. 

 

I now have a second feed from a different ISP. I'm looking for the easiest way to aggregate the two feeds into one to increase throughput and balance the load between the two. The original feed drops off from time to time. 

 

I read in the specs for the T1600, that it can handle LAG but it seems to be from the switch to a device such as a server or NAS, etc., not from 2 distinct ISP links. 

 

I would not be adverse to adding another switch or hardware device to accomplish this.

It looks like you want to combine two different ISP feeds into your Wi-Fi Router to increase throughput and balance the load, especially since your original connection is unreliable at times.

Currently, TP-Link home-grade Wi-Fi Routers do not support dual WAN functionality. If you require dual WAN or WAN aggregation features, you may need to consider a dedicated multi-WAN load balancing router or gateway device, which is designed specifically for this purpose. Alternatively, you can look into business-grade routers that support dual WAN or WAN aggregation. You can consult via our Business Community.
