Model: Archer TBE550E
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I recently got an Archer TBE550E and when plugging it into my top pcie x1 slot, my computer doesn't recognize it. I don't see it in device manager and the driver downloader doesn't recognize it either. When plugging it into the slot below, it causes my pc to boot loop. The only solution is to unplug it and then it will boot normally again. Looking at event viewer, I don't see anything that could help solve my problem. I have an AMD cpu. EDIT: I figured out how to stop it from boot looping, now the device is not recognized in either slot. Not sure what to do about that now.

Hello @Pokeee ,

Welcome to our community.

What do you mean that ' I figured out how to stop it from boot looping'. What is the method? Did you change any settings on the PC?

If you have a different PC, please test the adapter for comparison.

By the way, what model and operating system is your PC?

For the adapter, please install the latest driver.
