Model: Archer BE800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.2

Hello,

Recently I've been losing internet connection for a split second long enough to kick me off whatever I'm in the middle of and I looked at the syslog and seen this tear down and release of my public ip which I assume is why I'm losing internet. I've tried updating my firmware and am on the latest version. How should I go about fixing this?

Hello @Squidy ,

Welcome to our community.

What is the LED status when the network drops? How do you restore the network? Rebooting it manually, or will it auto-restore?

May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:

ISP modem—BE800)))((( client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

Have you noticed when this situation started occurring?

Here are some troubleshooting tips that may help:

1) When the network drops, connect a PC directly to your modem to verify if your ISP's Internet is stable.

2) Ethernet cable connecting your modem to the Router is properly connected, and replace old wires with new ones.
3) Please change the DNS Server of the Router, log in to the web management interface of the Router, go to Advanced > Network > Internet > Advanced Settings, and change the two DNS Servers to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
How to Change the DNS servers on the wireless router and DSL modem router (New UI)?
