Hey Community,

We have received user feedback that when using official Firmware 1.2.10, or pre-release firmware 1.3.0 on Deco BE63 V2, Deco BE65 V2, and Deco BE11000 V2, NAT Loopback anomalies, such as the following, may occur:

  • Inability to access a local server using the WAN IP + Port from within the LAN, although it works fine via the LAN IP.

  • Accessing the server via the WAN IP from an external network works fine.

Applies to:

Deco BE63 V2

Deco BE65 V2

Deco BE11000 V2

Available Solution:

Our R&D department has provided a beta firmware to address this behavior. We encourage affected users to download and manually update to this beta firmware and to share feedback on their experience.

  • If you are not comfortable using beta firmware, please wait for the official fix or contact our support teams for assistance

  • For Deco BE63/BE65 V2 users who are already testing the 1.3.0 Beta Firmware from this thread, or the Deco Heatmap Beta, and experiencing NAT Loopback issues, please reply to this thread with details regarding whether you are encountering the NAT Loopback, and how it is manifesting in your network. If your network is affected, recommend considering the beta firmware build linked above.
    • Please note: The beta firmware that fixes the NAT Loopback behavior does not support Deco Heatmap, and the feature may no longer function after installing.

  @Ryan hi, I currently have version 1.3.0 build 26021112 rel.24761 - this looks to be the same on the beta thread you mention (or am I wrong?).

  @RyanAPalfrey

Thanks for pointing this out – sorry for any confusion.

The overall version is the same (1.3.0); however, the build is different.

The original Heatmap beta was version 1.3.0 Build 26021112. However, some users have reported NAT Loopback behavior on 1.2.10 - 1.3.0. If you are experiencing NAT Loopback anomalies, we encourage you to use the latest beta version for the BE63/BE65/BE11000 V2, which is 1.3.0 Build 26021212.

That said, if you aren't having issues with NAT Loopback, feel free to remain on the original Heatmap beta firmware.

Hope this helps!

  @Ryan so I'm in the EU and I got my beta from the link below. Looking like this location hasn't been updated so should I wait for this to be released on this thread instead?

  @RyanAPalfrey

Both posts initially shared identical links to the original beta firmware. We'll reach out to coordinate once we have more info.

If your network is affected by the NAT Loopback behavior, we recommend updating your Deco BE63/BE65 1.3.0 beta build using the Download Link, and let us know if it addresses the concern.

  @RyanAPalfrey

From what I've been able to gather so far, the NAT Loopback fix beta firmware is actually an updated beta version of the firmware in this post in our global community forum. Its download link has been updated as of 2/13/26.

I'm still looking into whether it's applicable to the beta firmware that introduces Deco Wi-Fi Heatmap, since it is technically slightly derivative of the firmware build above. That said, if you are having NAT Loopback issues, I'd suggest installing it to fix the behavior.
