Hi,
1. Please go to the camera's Live View page in the Tapo app and check if you can hear the sound from the camera side when someone is talking to the camera. If not, tap the microphone icon and ensure the camera's microphone volume is set at a high level.
2. Go to the camera's Device Settings > Storage & Recording page, ensure the Record Sound option is enabled so the camera will record sound.
