Model: Deco XE70 Pro
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 build 20251023 rel. 47884

when I check for availible networks my main mesh comes up as locked. the following attached units come up as availible and not not locked, also location info show where they are. How do I fix this?

Not clear what you mean here?

Are you talking about a Device that needs to connect to the Deco WiFi signal?

Locked generally means it has a PASSWORD and to connect to it, you must supply the password. No lock, no password required? Anyone can connect to it.

When you say 'public network', do you mean the Guest Network?

More confusion to me is "hide a wi-fi 6e unit from public network"?

What are you calling 'wi-fi 6e unit'? A specific device? The SSID?

If you are on Windows, are you confusing this with Windows declaring Private or Public Network Profile?

Or are you wanting to hide the 6e SSID so no one sees it, but if you know the name you can connect to it?
