Hello @mattfoss1959 & @Mega__Man ,
Thanks for contacting our community.
Here are the remaining steps worth trying:
1. Forget the network and reconnect
2. Change the router's wireless channel, try switching the 6GHz channel on your TP-Link Wi-Fi 7 router.
3. Disable and re-enable the Wi-Fi adapter, go to Network Settings, disable the adapter, wait a few seconds, then re-enable it. Alternatively, restart your computer.
4. Disable any other wireless adapters, make sure no other wireless adapters (built-in or third-party) are active on your PC — only the TP-Link adapter should be enabled.
5. Move closer to the router, test the connection while physically near the router to rule out signal strength as a factor.
If these steps don't help, we recommend sending an email to forumsupport.usa@tp-link.com with the following information:

Hello @Mega__Man ,
Thanks for getting back to us.
Have you tried contacting local support for further assistance? Could you share the progress?
If possible, you can try a network reset on your PC:
On Windows 11, right-click the Network icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen > Network and Internet settings > Advanced network settings > Network reset.

Hello @Kevin715 ,
Thanks for sharing your solution for using the adapter.
We need the relevant test results to pinpoint the cause of the anomaly, though the process may take an uncertain amount of time, as it requires the relevant departments to fully reproduce the problem and analyze internal device parameters.
Given that the adapter works normally after you modified the router's channel width, we would like to know if you are willing to assist our engineers with further troubleshooting. If so, we will escalate your case to our engineering team for a more in-depth analysis.
If you prefer to keep things as they are for the time being, that is certainly fine. However, we believe that escalating the case now would be an excellent opportunity to troubleshoot the anomaly.
We look forward to hearing from you.

@Joseph-TP sorry I ended up returning the card and buying an Msi card with the exact same chipset that works flawlessly on 6ghz at 320, on the tp link 6ghz would only work if disabling 320 and 160 on the 6ghz band, which reduced speed so much that it defeated the purpose of having a high speed WiFi 7 card.

Hello @Kevin715 ,
It is certainly a pity that you ended up returning the TBE550E, though we are glad you found a network card that meets your needs.
May I ask what router model and ISP you are using? This information might assist us in our further investigation.
Thank you again for your efforts and for trying to resolve the issue; we will continue to gather feedback and investigate the cause of this anomaly.
Best Regards.
