no wpa3 windows 7 Lenovo 420h
I have internet access but I can't connect with my 6e router. Apparently I have to have wap3/personal. How do I find that? I have a tp-link TL-WN725N dongle without a wap3 setting.

@Rob395 If you are running windows 7, it most likely doesn't support wpa3. Too old.

Hello @Rob395 ,
Welcome to our community.
To connect to your Wi-Fi 6E router with WPA3 security, you'll need to upgrade to a newer TP-Link wireless adapter that supports both WPA3 and Wi-Fi 6E. You can visit: TP-Link WPA3 Devices.
Windows 7 is an older operating system (released in 2009, with support ended by Microsoft in January 2020) that does not have native support for:
• Wi-Fi 6E (6GHz) technology
• WPA3 security protocol (introduced in 2018)
Modern TP-Link wireless adapters that support Wi-Fi 6E and WPA3 require at least Windows 10 x64 or Windows 11 to function properly.
Recommended solutions:
1. Upgrade your Windows OS to Windows 10 or Windows 11 (if your PC hardware supports it)
2. Purchase a compatible Wi-Fi adapter that supports Wi-Fi 6E and WPA3
3. Or configure your router to use WPA2 security on the 2.4GHz band, which your current TL-WN725N and Windows 7 can support
