Some things won't load
I replaced my AX21 6 with a BE230 wifi 7. Now some of my wifes apps don't load and my Surface Pro 7+ won't load documents to print. We have Pixel 9 phones and I went through and put all of my devices on the new wifi, but printer still not printing and wife has to restart her phone every time. I did clear out her cookies and cache. My screen name is Inept because I am technologically insufficient.

Hello @Inept ,
Welcome to our community.
Here are some suggestions that may help:
For the apps not loading on phone:
1. Check DNS settings: Open the Tether app, go to MORE > Internet Connection, and change the DNS server to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. After updating the DNS server, have your wife reconnect her phone to the router network to ensure the new DNS settings take effect.
2. Verify no VPN or proxy: Make sure no VPN or network proxy is enabled on her phone.
3. Check Parental Controls: In the Tether app or web interface, verify that her phone isn't accidentally included in any Parental Control settings that might be blocking content.
4. Check Antivirus/Real-Time Protection: The BE230 may have "Antivirus" or "Real-Time Protection" features that could be blocking certain apps. Check the history to see if any apps are being blocked by mistake.
For the printer connection:
1. Change Network Profile (for your Surface Pro): Follow this guide to change the network profile on Windows: What should I do if I cannot access printer/internal server after changing the router
2. Verify same subnet: Make sure both your Surface Pro and printer are on the same subnet by checking their IP addresses: How to find IP address on your devices
3. Test connectivity: Try pinging the printer's IP address from your Surface Pro to verify they can communicate: How to use the Ping command
4. Consider MAC cloning: Since your old AX21 worked fine, you might want to enable "MAC Clone" on the BE230 to clone your previous router's WAN MAC address. This can sometimes resolve compatibility problem with devices that were configured for the old router.
