I want to update the drivers, but am not sure how to do it, as they seem to be in an unusual format.  I've thought about doing it by replacing the drivers on the CD and using that to install the drivers, but the problem with that idea is that I no longer have the CD.

I tried asking the support chat, but they kept asking me to do things that took me longer than 5 minutes and the chat would be closed.

@rfajman What hardware are you trying to update?  You can just go to the support page for it and download the latest driver.
