Model: Archer BE3600
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.5 Build 20260108 rel.68570(5553)

Hello I have 4 ArcherBE3600 in my home, 1 that connects to ATT fiber modem and the remaining 3 are all hard wired and part of the mesh the system creates. I have found that the Archer that is installed in my office has a red internet light daily, even though the system reports all connections are active. If I manually reboot the router it seems to correct itself, but the following day the red light returns. Not sure why this is behaving this way as none of the other routers are experiencing this issue.

Hi  @kpearce24

Welcome to the community!

If only the office unit is experiencing this behavior, I would try narrowing down potential variables:

  1. Have you tried swapping the Office BE3600 with one of the other units? If so, does the red light behavior persist?

  2. If possible, are you able to replace the Ethernet cable connecting the Office BE3600 to potentially rule out cable failure?

That said, if you're able to rule out both the unit and the cable, and the symptom remains, I'd recommend sending an email to forumsupport.usa@tp-link.com with the following information:

Subject: [Forum Escalation][ID 861582] Archer BE3600 red light even with connection

Thread URL: https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/threads/topic/861582

Model & Version: Archer BE3600 V1

Once sent, a ticket will be created in our support system, and a member of our support team will follow up to gather more information or troubleshoot the cause of this behavior.

Hi Ryan thank you for the information. I will try to swap the office and garage units and see if the issue follows. Will report back thanks!
