Deco x60 and new app update aren’t playing together.
I cannot connect to this device since the stupid unnecessary app update.
therefore, I can't tell you the hardware or firmware versions because the stupid app doesn't function.
please revert to the old version. This is so frustrating I want to throw the deco in the trash and buy a competitor's model because right now I hate everyone at TP link.

Are you getting any error messages? If so can you please provide screenshots? You can find your firmware and hardware version without the app by using the instructions below
1. Go to http://tplinkdeco.net/ and sign in - use the same password you use to log into the deco app
2. Once your logged in click on Advanced
3, Click on System from the menu on the left
4, Now click on Firmware Upgrade
5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for the "Online Upgrade" section look under model

Thank you for replying.
I am getting no error messages. It works but without access to it I can't check my monthly reports, check firmware for updates, etc.
I broke out my ipad to check for app updates. I normally only use it for reading and running my Lumin streamer/DAC. Saw that the Deco app updated and clicked on it and it sent me to a TP Link page to log in! Never happened before since setup. Tried my account and it bonked. Cool. I'll set up a new account. It did a "search" for TP Link hardware and came up empty. Asked to scan the bar codes on the router so I broke out the step stool and get up to the shelf where there main part of the 3 piece X60 is and started the bar code scan. It couldn't scan it.
So, that's when I vented here. I am just p1ssed that some developer decided to update the app and they ended up destroying my user experience.
Nothing works from my ipad, an admittedly last generation ipad, so I guess I'll just let this thing run until it breaks and then buy someone else's router.

What app version are you running is it 3.10.377?
Have you tried to reset each deco you own and then try to add them to the app? You can reset each one by pressing on the reset button of each deco for 2 to 3 seconds. FYI this well delete your entire network including SSID and Password so you will have to start all over
But you can still use the same SSID and Password you have always used,

Thanks for the response. I appreciate it as I know I'm not good in these situations.
ON EDIT: Yes, it is 3.10.377, or as I call it, version 666
When I went to the tplinkdeco.net page and tried to log in, all I got was the neverending spiral of death. It just sits and spins on that page (and it's still spinning).
I'm not going to reset everything. There's little that I like less than setting up electronics. It gives me hives. If I have to do that I'll just buy someone else's wifi7 router so I'm done for 5 years or so.

This definitely isn't the experience we want for our Deco users. Is this happening on your phone or your iPad, or both?
Have you tried fully uninstalling and reinstalling the Deco app, then logging in using your existing TP-Link Account (not the second one you recently created)? If not, please do and let us know whether it remedies the behavior.
I'm wondering if something went awry during the update process, and a fresh app install may help clear things up.

Thats what I needed help with. I found many sites where you can download an older version of the Deco app for android users but coundn't find a site that had an older version of the deco app for IoS users
Does tp-link have such a site? If not you should add it to the list of things you wanted to cover with the group.

In this case, I was suggesting uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version of the app―in the off-chance that some sort of corruption occurred when the App Store wrote the new version over the old one.
Good question, though. To my knowledge, we do not have a site for hosting old app versions.
