Hey Everyone,

We've received feedback from community members that their routers, such as Archer BE600 / 9500 / 9700 (V1) and BE550 Pro (V2), are prone to random automatic reboots after updating to firmware 1.1.1 Build 20260113 rel. 13713 and enabling the SMB sharing function, and once the USB hard drive is disconnected or SMB sharing is disabled, router stability returns.

Our R&D department has identified the cause of this unexpected behavior and released a firmware update to correct it. If your router also exhibits this behavior, please try downloading the firmware manually from the link below.

Applies to:

Archer BE550 Pro_V2_1.1.1 Build 20260113 rel. 13713

Note:

  • It is always recommended to save a copy of the router's Backup Config file before upgrading or downgrading firmware.

  • For instructions on how to upgrade your router's firmware, please see: How to Upgrade the Firmware on TP-Link Wi-Fi Routers

  • There will be an official firmware release in the future. If you are not comfortable using beta firmware, please wait for the official release or contact our support teams for assistance.

  • Pre-release and Beta firmware should be used at your own discretion. We cannot guarantee the functionality of features or technical support for Pre-Release or Beta Firmware.
