UB500 no BLE support as advertised
As others have posted, even though TP-Link advertises that the UB500 USB Bluetooth dongle supports Bluetooth LE, the drivers do not allow for it to be enabled in Windows 11.
When is TP-Link going to fix this? It was pointed out by someone else in this same forum 2 years ago.
In the meantime, I bought an Asus USB dongle (Asus BT600) that includes driver software that actually works as advertised and provides desired LE support.

Regarding BLE functionality: You can verify that this feature is enabled by checking the Bluetooth section of your Device Manager to confirm the presence of the relevant BLE entries.
To help us diagnose the connection issues you are experiencing more accurately, please let us know the specific model of the device you are attempting to connect to.
For example:
If you are attempting to pair the UB500 with a device that requires LE Audio support to connect—such as certain newer hearing aids or Bluetooth receivers that support LE Audio—you will be unable to connect.
This is because , once paired, devices that support LE Audio typically display "LE Audio" or "LC3" codec options in the "Audio devices" or "Speakers" sections of Device Manager. Since the UB500 does not support LE Audio, these options will not appear.
