I have a router that is broadcasting a 5GHZ SSID in ac mode only.
I can not see that netowork with my Archer T9E AC1900.
When I do a command prompt command of: netsh wlan show drivers
... I find the following list for radio types supported: 802.11n 802.11a 802.11n 802.11g 802.11b
There is no radio type of 802.11ac!! I am using the most up to date driver for my adapter:
Archer T9E_V1_141124
Which in actual version is...
6.30.223.228
Am I missing something or does my adapter just not support ac radios?

Also I have the same problem and no solution found in the Internet, everything which was suggested I have tried. Support should now slowly bring a solution because it is not known since yesterday. Get money and let people sit. It's enough.

Why hasn't this been fixed yet I am suffering the same problems on Windows 7 64 bit. This is a high end card, I bought it specifically for high speeds and I'm getting 100mbps at most which I can achieve with any old cheap USB adapter.
802.11ac isn't supported!!

You can check the link speed on the computer. Even your router supports 11ac, if the channel width is low, you won't get the maximum 11ac speed.

The "problem" may be that you are running windows 8.0 or older. The netsh command was not 802.11ac aware until windows 8.1. The card can and does make full speed AC links anyway. You just won't be able to see the 802.11ac identifier in the "supported radios" field from the netsh command, or in any of the other Windows networking interfaces as they were coded before the AC standard was developed
I don't know what you could possibly expect TP-LINK to do about that. They don't work for Microsoft.
