Model: Archer C3200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.9.1.0.1.v004b.0.Build 160116 rel.29902n

Archer C3200
This router has 2 x 5g  broadcasts. I use 5G1 on my phone and iPad. 5g 2 is set for my TV using an Amazon fire stick. 5G 2 is always dropping the connection and reverting to 5G1. I tried turning down the power and changing channel and bandwidthbut often it just says out of range!  Recycling the router and fire stick and changing the ssid will bring it up again only for it to drop off minutes later. No other items are on the 5g network. Wanted to keep them off the same channel. 5G1 and 2 are at different channel ends - 48 and 161. ? No new firmware since Nov 2016. Any solutions please?

Not sure why that is happening. I would try moving the router and antennas some as small changes do make a difference such as turn the router 45 or 90 degrees one way or other. Also consider switching the devices on 5G1 to 5G2 and 5G2 to 5G1 to see that works.
