Not that I know of, but did you install the Printer onto the Laptop?

I'll assume you had the printer working with the Laptop before, or when it was running wireless?

HP had a few tools that might assist. The 'Print Doctor' will find the printer and install it I recall for instance.

In any even, might want to Google 'How to install a network printer'?

@IrvSp It works great if I join the network from my laptop on the WiFi.  This is only one issue of not having the wired and wifi networks shared.  That is the broader issue I am trying to solve.  Nothing on the wired network sees the WiFi devices, and in reverse.  This seems like a very odd design choice to me.   Not just printers also Spotify Connect, Google Cast, Next Device Control, File Share, etc.

Well, more specific info would help here? Like the OS you are running (sounds like Mac?)?

I'm thinking you have different 'domains' or 'workgroups'?

Other possibility, the Wifi connection is to the GUEST network while wired is no able to see that UNLESS you allow the Guest Network so basically 'share' the network, that is the Guest device can see the non-Guest network.

If on Windows I'd ask you to open a CMD prompt and enter IPCONFIG and NETVIEW to see what the differences are on both wired and wireless as far as the network goes.

Doubt it is a 'design choice', otherwise there would be many complaints like this, but there isn't?

What mode is the router in? Router or Access Point?

What did you have before, another router or used the ISP Modem/Router combo?

Anything else that might be of interest to those assisting you? Saves going back and forth asking questions. So far, all I know is you have wireless and wired devices, no IP Address, no info on how the Network is setup, model of any devices, etc/

@IrvSp I have multiple OS on the network.  Mac, Windows, Chromebook.  Here is a simple issue:

When I plug any laptop into the wired network port on the router, I cannot access http://tplinkwifi.net/  (http://192.168.0.1/) 

It appears to me that you cannot access the router config section when using a network connection (not wifi).

So the router is re-assigning my IP address when I connect via WiFI.

I agree, this is an odd 'design choice'.

So what is the ERROR you get?

Do you use the 192.168.0.1 in the Browser URL or TPLINKWIFI.NET? I use 192.168.0.1 but both do work for me.

Wondering if you have a BROWSER CACHE that needs to be cleared? Tried a different Browser? Have you set any RESERVED IP Addresses?

You never answered what you used before and if it worked?

I thinking a situation of Double NAT. You have your ISP's modem that is also a wireless router. When wireless you connect to that modem, when wired, the router but it can't see the wireless side and it is not part of the network? Doesn't make sense though, you'd expect to have a different Gateway address?

It does sound like a setup problem though, or a setting that isn't correct? Assuming your wireless SSID is NOT a GUEST SSID that is? Might want to connect to Support for setup assistance.

I am now thinking it may have been an Windows 10 Network security issue.  When on the Wifi, it treated it as a trusted network, but must have treated the wired network as a public network and did not allow sharing.   Updated the settings and everythign is working as expected now.  I can see my devices on my wifi network when plugged into the wired network.
