Is that with all devices or just one? Some devices can only connect on one network. Try deleting (forget) the 2.4 network on the device and then reestablish it as that may be the issue.

@ArcherC8 Tried forgetting 5.0 network but it is the only one that shows up to pick from 2.4 doesn't come up at all

Do you have any device that see the 2.4 network? What is the device that you are having an issue with? Also check your WIFI settings to be sure you do not have 'hide SSID' turned on.

@ArcherC8 I can see other networks. I have an iPhone and a Galaxy tablet that doesn't show the 2.4

If your iPhone can sign on to the 2.4 but the Galaxy tablet cannot, then I would suspect the tablet. That is not to say changing some setting on the router will allow the tablet to work. Assuming you have already tried deleting (forget) the 2.4 network on the tablet, we have seen connection issues where changing channels and widths on the router has corrected some connection issues. I googled and found others have had the same issue but no clear cut resolution.

Switch the antennas around if your router allows and if that does not fix it, contact support as it sounds like the radio may be bad to me.

Any chance you have ACCESS CONTROL turned on? That could stop you from connecting, but you should still see the SSID?

 

Wonder if Security is set to one that the device can't use?

 

Have you tried resetting the router and manually resetting all settings?

 

Wondering if there is 'country' problem, but again, that usualy would cause problems for the 5Ghz band?

 

Since those devices are mobile, I assume the problem happens right next to the router as well?
