Hello and HAPPY NEW YEAR,

during the day i have serious problem with slow connectivity .

I did also a hard reset but the problem  still exists . Sometimes the download is 2,4 MB instead of 10 MB  that my provider provides. The router is in the next room.

What is going wrong?

Please help!

@MILLY

Since you are in the next room, we assume you are having a speed issue with WIFI. It can be caused by a lot of things. The first test is to run a speed test near the router say about five feet or so. If the speed is good, then you have some type of interference. The 5 GHz band will give you the fastest speed and the 2.4 band will give you the most distance. If there are a lot of other routers nearby then you may need to change the router settings to use a specific channel as they may be interfering with your signal. Moving the router can help as it should be in open area, as other electronics, metal, walls, other signals, other objects all affect the performance of WIFI. Try turning the router and the antennas in different positions, set it higher, move left or right, ...

What is the speed when stable for both close and when in the other room? Then what are the speeds when it is unstable in both places? What kind of device (PC, tablet, ?) are you using?
