Reolink unable to connect to M9 plus router
Reolink unable to connect to M9 plus router
Hi, I am having trouble connecting Reolink Argus to the Deco M9. It cannot locate the router. I enabled the Deco M9 as an access point and set it for 2 4 ghz, and still unable to connect. Any suggestions?

@TP-Link yes, the technical support provided below instructions, which I followed:
1. On the Deco app, please turn off the fast roaming and turn off the 5G band, then on your phone, go to the Wi-Fi settings, hold on Deco's Wi-Fi name and click on forget this network.
2. Then reconnect your phone to the deco's Wi-Fi, and then try to configure the Reolink Argus camera.

Hi, when you said ‘ it cannot locate the router’, do you mean, during the setup of the Reolink Argus camera, it could not find the wireless network of Deco M9 Plus?
Is the camera the only device that could not see the Wi-Fi of Deco M9 Plus?
Except for the 2.4ghz only on access point mode, please also try to turn off the fast roaming/ beamforming on the Deco APP;
Thank you and wait for your reply.

@TP-Link yes to both of your questions. I have tried your suggestion of turning off beamforming and fast roaming and it still didn't work. Error 'connection to the router fails.' Please advise.

Thanks for the update.
I would like to follow up on your case by email and please have a check of your email box later.
By the way, can I have a picture of the error message?
Since you mentioned that Deco M9 plus is on the access point mode now, may I know the model number of your main router, and did Reolink still work well with the main router?
For the SSID of the Deco M9, it is the same as the main router?

@DAServices yes, I am using the reolink app on the android platform.
After hitting the "plus" button on the top right to add a new device,I am able to scan the camera. Afterwards it asks to scan the QR code provided within the app to connect to the wifi. After scanning the QR code within the app, it tries to connect to the router, but fails at this point.

@TP-Link there is no error message displayed since the error is verbally heard from the camera unit about not being able to connect to the router
I was able to connect the reolink to the main router. The camera was working for a couple of minutes and then stopped recording though.
Main router model: FIOS-G1100

Hi there. I am having the exact same nightmare. I have followed all these instructions with no luck. Only difference is that I am configured as a wireless router. Any pearls of wisdom?
