Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 20210511 rel.76452(5553)

I just replaced my Arris SB6190 cable modem with an Arris SB8200. My ISP is Spectrum.  When I was using the SN6190, I could bring up the Arris Web Manager at 192.168.100.1.  When upgraded my modem to the SB8200, I no longer could access this web address.  My router is at 192.168.0.1.  I can ping the 192.168.100.1 address.  When I run Windows Network Diagnostics Troubleshooting, the response I get is "website (192.168.100.1) is online but isn't responding to connection attempts".  If I connect SB8200 directly to my laptop without using the router, I can access the Web Manager.

What settings in my router could be causing this?  And how can I resolve this?

@azcat71 Thanks for this information. I am good now. It would be nice if the Arris documentation provide the right IP address for the modem.  The User Guide says I P is 192.168.100.1.  I believed them as my SB6190's IP address was 192.168.100.1. I was in a live chat twice with Arris Tech Support and they were clueless.  I can't thank you enough.  I just moved my AX6000 to 192.168.1.1 as you suggested and all is well. I needed to keep on top of the Arris diagnostics as I was having issues with the cable drop in my house/.  Spectrum fixed my issues which were in my attic at no charge to me.  I just want to stay on top of it now.

@azcat71

It is because there is some type of a conflict with the LAN IP address.

I had the same issue.

The fix is to change the LAN IP address from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.1.1

If you set up port forwarding and such, you will need to change the settings.

You can bypass the router to get to the modem as I did for a while as I do not need to sign on very often.

@azcat71

Like you, I did not have the issue with my previous router. I did have to change the IP that was used in my devices for the new router but at the time it had not occurred to me that it would effect the modem sign on.

I contacted TP Link support and they were unable to help me when I had the issue. I got the answer on the Xfinity forum from one of their members. I guess that inspired me to help others in these forums.
