2 Routers Question
2 Routers Question
I have 2 TP-Link AX6600 WiFi 6 Gaming Router (Archer GX90). If I use 1 as main router and 1 as an access point will it be the same wifi I give same ssid and pw , or am I better off going with 1 router and 2 extenders (TP-Link AX1800 WiFi 6). I have not changed my set up in years and figured 2 routers would be better coverage . These are still in the box so I don't know what Hardware version and Firmware Just incase i have to return 1 . Thank you.

The setup guide only shows a wireless connection to the router and the Ethernet port connected to a PC.

May be able to do it with AP (not sure) but not with OneMesh.
See https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/232698 as other have found out.
That is why I recommended a true Mesh system such as Deco or other system over OneMesh.
