Model: Deco X60
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 20210204

Woke up this morning to a strange problem. The WiFi is not connecting to the internet. All wired devices seem to be working, but my phone cannot get internet connecting as 5Ghz. The Deco app shows connectivity, and many wired and wireless devices all working normally, but only wired devices are getting internet. Rebooted everything in the pathway, to no avail. My iPad, using 2.4Ghz works just fine. I dropped the 5Ghz network as a workaround and force everything to the 2.4 network, but that didn't actually work for my iPhone. It still shows "no internet connection" under WiFi.

Log entries (a few):

Sat Dec 25 06:43:48 2021 daemon.err nrd[10027]: estimatorCmnHandleBeaconReportEvent: Invalid beacon report for CC:6A:10:22:63:E9

Sat Dec 25 06:43:53 2021 daemon.err nrd[10027]: estimatorDot11kIterateCB: Timeout waiting for 802.11k response from 0A:BC:6D:10:73:20

Sat Dec 25 06:43:54 2021 daemon.err nrd[10027]: triggerMonSteering: Failed to get uplink rssi for CC:6A:10:22:63:E9

I believe the CC:6A device is my WiFi enabled garage door opener.

Any thoughts?

Edit:

Maybe just my iPhone? My wife's older 12 mini from last year connects just fine and is having no issues, 2.4 or 5 Ghz. Christmas day, I have to go to work, as a doctor, and am supposed to depend on my phone for mission-critical apps. Sigh.

Actually, I had to reset the network settings on my iphone and that seemed to fix the issue (though caused others with having to re-input several wifi network passwords). I forgot about this post, but it can be marked as resolved at this time. Thanks!

@chubnatty

Hi, Were you still having the same issue on the iPhone?

There are some suggestions for your reference:

1. turn off fast roaming/beamforming on the Deco APP.

2. turn off Mesh Technology for the iPhone on the Deco APP.

3. reset the network settings of the iPhone.

4. enable the guest network for 2.4ghz only and connect the iPhone to the guest network to see whether there is internet service or not.

But if the issue continues, it is suggested to send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com with the model number and operating system of your iPhone.

Thank you.
