Can someone explain if I'm missing something obvious with the bedtime settings on the s4/m5? (I've an m5 main, and 3xs4 as satellites)

I've it setup as the following but every Saturday night it cuts off at 10pm instead of 11pm.

@Ant_

Hi, based on your current settings:

School nights: Sunday to Thursday

From:22:00(previous Day)

Until 07:50

So the actual effective time is from 22:00 on Saturday to 07:50 on Thursday

Weekend: Friday and Saturday

From: 23:00(previous Day)

Until: 07:00

So the actual effective time is from 23:00 on Thursday to 07:50 on Saturday

Sorry i must be missing something again, that reads like you'd need to change change it weekly because of how friday is implemented i guess...

what settings achieve the following

internet locking at 10pm until 7:50 on sun/mon/tues/wed/thurs

internet locking at 11pm until 7:am on friday/saturday

i'm happy to have those just written up because i'm missing something simple here clearly

@Ant_

Hi, You could refer to the following pictures:

TP-LinkTP-Link

Here, I use 8:00 am for example since 7:50 am could not be marked on the table. And the blue bars are the blocked time.

School nights: Monday-Friday From 10:00pm until 8:00am

Weekend nights: Saturday-Sunday From 11:00pm; until 7:00am

So basically, what you tend to do could not be done via bedtime and there will be one hour difference.

Thank you very much.

@TP-Link ok forget the morning version where it's 8am or 7am in your chart, we'll say the morning is always 8am so the top section is all matching and we can ignore it, it's the bedtime hours and what constitutes a school night is the issue using "previous day" in the app

In your app school nights are marked  Sun-thursday (previous day) which is set 8am - 22:00

Weekend Friday - Saturday 8am-23:00

but this results in the internet cutting out at 10pm on the saturday and because you can't choose individual days or mark it like you have below, the internet cuts out at 10 on a saturday

@Ant_

Hi, Here in the parental control, the bedtime only starts from the previous day, not the ended time, so it is 22:00(previous day)-8:00.

If you choose Sunday-Thursday as school nights, Friday-Saturday as weekend nights, then school nights start from Saturday night 22:00, ends with Thursday Morning 8:00. Then the weekend nights would be 22:00 Thursday-8:00 Friday;22:00 Friday-8:00 Saturday)

The previous pictures are set up under Monday-Friday as School nights, Saturday-Sunday as Weekend.
