Model: Deco X55
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.8 Build 20220407 Rel. 69854

I have 2 Deco X55s (ethernet backhaul) connected to a Pace 5268AC Gateway with incoming ATT Fiber (500Gbs).  The ATT Gateway WIFI is turned off.

Since the Decos were connected and setup for WIFI, the ATT Uverse TV DVR device (Motorola VIP2250 connected via HPNA) has had problems recording more than 1 show at a time. I reported the problem to ATT Uverse Support and they sent me a replacement DVR, an Arris VIP2262. But the replacement DVR is having the same problems.

I disconnected my Decos temporarily and found that the ATT Uverse DVR can now record multiple shows simultaneously!

I am not using the IPTV setting on the Decos and they are in different location than the TVs so I cannot use a port on the Decos for IPTV.

Is there anyway I can configure the Decos so they DON'T interfere with the Uverse DVR?

Thanks

 SOLVED:   I had misinterpreted the ethernet backhaul method and had both Decos hard wired to the Gateway.  Simply, removing the ethernet connection from the second Deco, only having the first Deco connected to the Gateway, resolved all the recording problems.

  @FritzM

Hi, if possible, could you please change Deco X55 into access point to see whether it would help with this issue:

How to set up Deco to work in Access Point mode

I see you mentioned that the DVR is in different location than Decos, so I guess it is now connected to the 5Ghz of Deco X55, right

Wait for your reply.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
