Recently added an RE315 to my Spectrum Cable network but cannot figure out how to add internet and security to the extender. Spectrum's wi-fi is a SAGEMCOM SAC2V2S model. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Range extender will synchronize the security type of router after it successfully connects to the Wi-Fi router.

It is recommended to make sure the router has a secured Wi-Fi network, then set up your range extender as instruction How to configure my range extender via web GUI?

The Wi-Fi of range extender should be a secured Wi-Fi and asks for the Wi-Fi password when the network device trys to connect to the Wifi of the extender.
