Accepted Static Routes for XE5300
I'd be nice to have the ability to set static routes on the deco. It is a fairly standard feature on most routers.
Any chance this in a firmware update that is soon to happen?

Hey @Rads,
You can use the IP Reservation feature to do this at a network level, and you can set static IPs for the connected client. Unless you are talking about the IP of the Deco itself?
If you provide more details about what you are looking for, I would be more than happy to pass any feedback along to our development teams for future consideration.

@Riley_S Thanks or the quick reply.
I'm looking to set a static route on the router for a different subnet (VPN connections on a server) behind the Deco. I've opened the correct ports and can connect to my VPN, but without the ability to set routes, my traffic is limited.
I've seen some of the other posts discussing the possiblity of the Deco hosting its own VPN; is that something we can look foward to?
Thanks!

Quicker than you can imagine, actually :)
While we do not know what models will receive new firmware first, the Deco X50 and Deco X55 were just updated last week, adding VPN server and client capabilities. I would expect this to be added to other models soon, as it is one of our most requested features.
The Static routing feature was also added in the last update to these two models. Other models may have already received the update with these features, or a part of them otherwise, the team is working to develop and push updates to more models and hardware versions soon.
