Model: Deco XE5300
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.1

Having AT&T fiber installed with a BGW 320 modem/router. Already have the Deco XE5300 working with Spectrum. Anything I need to know since the new AT&T modem is also a router? Should I turn off the WiFi on the AT&T modem/router?

  @SheriffJustice

Hi, welcome to the community.

It would be great if you could put ATT BGW320 into bridge mode. But if there is no bridge modem mode on the Fiber ONR, after turning off Wi-Fi on the ATT BGW320, it is also suggested to change Deco into Access Point mode since the default working mode on Deco is also a router.

How to set up Deco to work in Access Point mode

Thank you very much and best regards.

  @David-TP So, what I found on the web was that the ATT BGW320 cannot be put into bridge mode. I will try your second suggestion. Thanks! I'll let you know how it goes.
