Ethernet cable
I am curious .... I make my own Ethernet cables, Cat 5e, and they are made in the T-568B Straight Through position ... is this pretty much today's standard?
The reason I ask, as I will be getting the Deco X55 3-pack this week, and will be connecting the main one off the modem to the other two via Ethernet cable ... Would I use the Straight Through position or would I use the Crossover position on these connections for the backbone to each other unit?
I really never made any of the crossover type cable ..... not really understanding the uses of the two types?
