I have a three node mesh with hard wire between the main and on satellite and the other using wireless backhaul.

We are in a townhouse with neighbors on either side. There is cochannel interference on 5Ghz ch 40 and a scan says to use ch 48, but the best channel is never selected.

There is no way to select channels and your algorithm does not pick the best channel.

We are frequently seeing client device drops.

Why can't I specify a preferred channel?
