Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.1

I use whitelist control under Access Control (Advanced). I have run into the 32 device limitation. Is there a firmware update that could expand that limitation? Is there a different TP-Link router that would allow me to limit MAC access to more than 32 devices?

Yes, there are router models that allow a limit of 64 entires in the Whitelist. Check here and here.

Does anyone know what the whitelist limit is for the Archer A8 (AC1900) router?

@terziyski I'd like to know why is there a limit of 64 white-list devices in the first place, when over 100 connections are allowed.  Is there a way to remove the limit?

The only way to remove this limit is with an updated FW release.

Updated FW release could be issued only if it complies with the device HW limitations (CPU and Memory).

That's TP-Link developent team to decide whether this is possible or not - that's all I know.
