Model: Deco X68
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.4 Build 20240719 Rel. 73176

I did a firmware update this morning and all of a sudden my Deco x68 could not hold a connection for more than 30 minutes and keeps messing up the IPs. I spent 4 hours troubleshooting/waiting with Deco support team chat and they kept blaming it on my modem/Xfinity having DHCP issues.

Just went out and bought a $25 wifi router at Walmart and it works perfectly since I hooked it up to my modem. Not the features and coverage I want, but better than Deco has been all day, so figured I would connect Deco to it in Access Point mode. Same thing: Decos worked for 10 mins and then all of a sudden no internet connection, IPs messed up, all while the $25 router is still working perfectly next to it, never disconnected in 5 hours with both wired (obviously besides the wired connection to the Deco) and wireless connections.

Basically installing that firmware update this morning left me with $300 worth of bricked Deco hardware.
