Not sure about the HW version so I left it blank.

 

Have 3 units of Deco X4300 Pro and have issues with my LAN and WiFi speed.

My ISP is providing 5Gbps theoretically over fiber optic, actual speed test from server to my ISP Gateway is 4.5Gbps download and 3Gbps upload.

 

My main Deco X4300 Pro's 2.5G port is connected to the 5G LAN port of my Gateway and disabled my Gateway's dual-band WiFi so I can use my own mesh wifi.

However, using Speedtest app on the phone and PC, both about 10' - 15' from the main Deco only produced ~45Mbps download and ~10Mbps upload, both on 2.4G and 5G bands.I could not find a way on the Deco app to check or configure the channel bandwidth/size for each band. From 'Wi-Fi Settings' >> '2.4G & 5G GHz' >> 'Advanced', all I can see from here is Security and Band options (just choice of 2.4 and.or 5G). Moreover, when I go to QoS and click 'Enable', it shows the menu for one second and goes back to previous page QoS Enable. I did try very quick to press the 'Total Bandwidth' option after pressing the QoS Enable and it shows 50Mbps download and 10Mbps upload. These entries are similar to the speedtest I got from Speedtest app so I think it's limiting my speed.

 

There is an option to edit the speed and it only allowed me to enter max of 1000Mbps (1Gbps), so I entered the maximum value since they are both lower than the ISP subscription speed of 5Gbps. When I clicked 'Save', nothing happens, and when I go back to page, it asked me to Discard or Keep Editing. I did this multiple times with the same results so I know the values I entered were not saved. And when I go to the Clients and selected any user, it does not show the option to Limit Speed. By the way, I checked the 1G LAN port of the Deco and connected to my PC, speed is almost the same as the WiFi which is ~45Mbps download and ~10Mbps upload. So I know something is misconfigured on my Deco. I also replaced the cat6e cable, restart my iPhone 16 and deleted and re-installed the app but to no avail.

 

What am I missing here? Pls advise.
