So right out of the box I subbed to homeshield because I had similar for eero . all well and good but I realized Norton is behind the curtain which is not my favorite but whatever. Cut to getting the email with the click here to download which no problems there pretty straightforward but:

Now it seems like you have to buy the Norton script separately from homeshield because there's no subscription code to redeem? Did I understand this correctly?

I want to understand the mechanics here that the AV is separate from whatever homeshield offers. cause if it is I'm good I have other products I use. I'll just use the interface offered by homeshield and keep my other provider(s).
