Model: Deco BE63
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: Deco BE63(US)_V2.6_1.2.10 Build 20251229

When I got up this morning, I noticed some of my devices had no internet but some did. The only devices connecting successfully were on the 2.4GHz band; not even wired devices worked.  Powercycled router - no change; powercycled both modem and router - no change.  Completely reset the main router and unplugged the satellite - no change (besides losing ALL of my settings and device info of course, thanks to a backup option that doesn't work).

So I called tech support.  Good grief.  That poor guy with his checklist was useless.  He "moved me up" and said he was sending me an email with further instructions.  I received the test email before we hung up but no other email was sent.  Thanks.

I expected it was a hardware issue since I wasn't aware of a recent firmware update.  I reset my satellite and set it up as the main router.  It had the exact same issue so that ruled out hardware.

I forced my laptop to use 2.4 only, downloaded the previous firmware version (Deco BE63(US)_V2.6_1.2.0 Build 20250718) and connected to the router via browser since the app doesn't do rollbacks.  Once the old firmware was installed, everything is back to working properly, except wired.  It's so dumb but out of all of the connections, wired no longer works.  I unplugged the TV and Apple TV ethernet cables from the router and then I lost internet entirely.  Mind you, I didn't touch the ethernet cable coming from the modem.  I unplugged it and plugged it back in...nothing.  I had to reboot the router with only the modem ethernet plugged in to get back online.  The other ethernet ports still don't work but at least I have wifi, I guess.

Any explanations as to how this happened?  Anyone else have this issue?

Same, suddenly, issue but BE25 1.1.7 Build 20260114 Rel. 14971

My wifi devices suddenly disconnecting. Some devices (AppleTV) refuse to connect. I'm trying to figure out how to downgrade (need a downgrade tool, it seems)

  @123456781

Hi, apart from the Apple TV, can I have the model numbers of other mobile devices that dropped out?

Will they reconnect to the internet automatically a few minutes later?

Deco BE25_1.1.7 can be downgraded to 1.1.3 directly via web UI, no need for a downgrade tool.

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

  @rmrfbucket

Hi, welcome to the community.

Can I have the support ticket ID?

Are the TV and Apple TV the only devices that can't access the internet from the Deco?

-Are they connected directly to the main Deco BE65?

-If you check on the Deco App, will these devices still be online and receive IP addresses?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

  @David-TP

I have restarted my satelite x20s and my connection feels more stable.

I noticed that the x20s were only connected, to my BE25, via 2.4 instead of 2.4/5.

Monitoring...

  @David-TP Thank you for the welcome! I don't recall receiving a support ticket number.  The test email came from eduardo.dejesus@tp-link.com which was likely who I was on the phone with.

The Sony TV and Apple TV were the only devices plugged in via ethernet to the main unit.  There were 2 Windows PCs and an Apple Mac Mini plugged into the satellite router.  None of those devices had internet and when you looked in the Deco App, none of them were listed as connected devices.

The only devices shown as connected in the app were on the 2.4 band and they all had internet.
