Model: Archer BE9300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

I am wondering if this router has been retired or EOL'd? There hasn't been a firmware update in almost a year.  I spent a small fortune on this beast yet it seems to have fallen by the side.  No really firm answer from TP-Link as to why.  They posted 1 firmware update a long time ago - it's why I am considering another different router such as ASUS OR Netgear for better support and letting my Archer BE 9300 become like the old Commodore 64 of it's day - a good doorstop.

@Joseph-TP I'm not going to post a screenshot openly to this forum because of the information on that sticker opens one up to hackers and the like.  I have for the most part given up on this router and am about to the point of e-cycling this router because this whole situation has become a nightmare.  I'm not about to subscribe to additional TPLink services either when they don't support them.  I see Walmart has also dropped the price on this router to $158 - so it looks that maybe it is close to EoL.  I'm not going to waste any further effort on this.  I've got other more important things to worry about.

Hello @ninja660 ,

Welcome to our community.

May I know the firmware version of your router now? As far as I know, a new firmware 1.2.2 Build 20251209 is being rolled out gradually to different users. If you enable the Auto Update button on the Firmware Update page, will you be able to detect the new firmware?

We always value the user experience of our products, and your feedback is crucial to us. If you need further assistance, you can also contact Local Support.

I have the last current firmware that TP-Link released via the auto download/auto update and it hasn't seen any other updates in the last year.  i had switched to another router because this was deficient especially at the price I paid for the router.  I didn't subscribe to the TP-Link extras either because at the time, I didn't feel it was worth it.

Hello @ninja660 ,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Looks like your firmware is still the 1.1.2 Build 20250317 rel.19315. You can click the following link to try the new firmware: Archer BE9300_V1_1.2.2 Build 20251209.

@Joseph-TP This firmware is not for the BE9300 - I wondered why the 9300 wouldn't accept it.  Please check the file again for the RIGHT file.  Thanks.

@WKMAN  And that does what? I reconnected the router and it found no updated firmware.  The file posted in that previous message was for a BE 550 not the BE9300 v1.6 - if you hover over the link provided - look at the file name/link provided and you'll see the file name doesn't match the model.
