I used Citrix many years ago on Windows XP and even then would get issues. Do not know if it is even the same product anymore. You can google "Citrix Freeze" and see what others have encountered....

Did you set up address reservation for the MAC address of the device to point to the ip address? Also power cycle the router after changes as some do not take effect until you do.
