@Nosty I would try to delete the network setting on the pc and then reset it up especialy if you used the same ssid.

@y2k2 I have used reserved address in both Asus and TP Link within the DHCP range and have not had any issues. The auto assigned address are both lower and higher than the reserved addresses.

@Honoken Some of the DDNS services offer a client that you put on your computer that keeps the IP updated. That does require that your computer to be on all the time. I am not sure if the router does.
